New Cincinnati Milling Machine & Tool Grinder Manuals Now Available

 

We"ve added 19 new Cincinnati milling machine and tool grinder operator"s instruction, service, and parts manuals.

We"ve been busy in our shop, but we"ve found some time to scan in and clean up over 1,400 pages of Cincinnati milling machine and tool grinder manuals for you. They have been uploaded and are now available in the Cincinnati section.

We have instructions, service, and parts manuals for the different Dial Type horizontal and vertical milling machines, as well as the Nos. 1 and 2 cutter and tool grinders. We have instruction and parts manuals for the Cincinnati Dividing Heads, and some of the vertical milling attachments that Cincinnati made. We have more Cincinnati manuals to come in the future.

Also we have a new Cincinnati Milling Machine Co. catalog that is now available in our Free PDF Catalogs download section. This Cincinnati catalog is 137 pages, and was printed in 1926. This is the oldest most comprehensive catalogs we"ve seen from the Cincinnati Milling Machine Co. A lot of care had to be taken into scanning this old catalog. Check it out, because we believe it was well worth it. It shows pictures of the old factory and laboratory facilities. It has all kinds of different mills and grinders that Cincinnati made at the time. This is great information to help you identify your old Cincinnati machinery, or to learn more about the evolution of their machinery.

This is a reproduction, not a photocopy, of an original Cincinnati Nos. 2, 3, and 4 Dial Type Horizontal & Vertical Milling Machines Model OM parts manual. This manual gives specifications of each type of milling machine in detail. The Cincinnati manual contains clear explosive view diagrams of all the parts with parts descriptions for these milling machines. Please see contents pictured above, and the pictures of the Cincinnati milling machines covered in this manual.

 

This manual would cover Cincinnati milling machines with serial numbers starting with either 2A or 4A, but this does not cover the No. 1 milling machines. No. 1 milling machines are model ER.

Been working on taking gear box off this 16" #WalkerTurner #metal #bandsaw Any recommendations?

We see that there is a plug on the end, but haven"t figured out how to take it out without breaking something. Thought about disassembling it from the wheel end on the other side.

We have a few extra small metal lathes like this Grizzly G0768 8"x16" metal lathe that we don"t really need. They require some work and parts, and then tune them up. But they make really nice lathes for their size.
